This seems to be the first time I've seen o rings for tires, that are rolled on the rims for sideways movements

The movements of the tree branches in the background prove the video is 2x speed, and there is very very little to suggest these tires car be driven on at freeway speeds, or even safely turn the vehicle at speed without overcomeing the mechanism that allows the orings to roll on the rim.

And after seeing this article, the immediate question is why is a London resident showing a car in Canada? Inverse.com says he's from London  but Wired.com says he's Canadian and MotorTalk.com says he's both

The dual o rings will have less contact with the ground than normal tires, and I can't see anyone jumping in to buy this.... lots more unsprung weight than a conventional rim and tire, hampering acceleration and braking, and too much electrical consumption to roll those orings sideways. Also, I bet they are useless on frozen slippery snow, ice, and slush

Exactly how much assistance it provides can be predetermined by the rider, using an app on their smartphone. That app also allows them to track their riding stats, including distance traveled, calories burned and elevation gain.

It features either a 250-watt or 350-watt hub motor (buyer's choice), a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a range of approximately 30 miles and a top assisted speed of 20 mph. It weighs 12 lb, and is available in 26-inch, 27-inch and 700C sizes.

SaferMoto makes an array of lightweight protective vests and jackets equipped with airbags that have helped many riders walk away from crashes



They use an internal deployment system that connects to a motorcycle by tether, and deploys within .25 seconds if ejected from the bike, often before a rider’s brain even registers they’ve been thrown off.

It takes at least 66 pounds of pressure to trigger the airbag mechanism, pressure caused only by a forceful movement by the rider so that unnecessary deployment is avoided if they merely forget to disconnect the tether from the bike when dismounting.

The padding created by the inflation seems stiff and sustained enough to create a protective barrier against the back area. The collar also appears constricting enough to keep a helmet from compressing against the shoulders.

Plus, they say they offer a military discount, which is extended to police.
